We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?

Prayer Points for week beginning 16 February

Sunday 16 February: Ask God to draw near to all who gather for worship across the united parish this morning that there would be a sense of His living presence among us and a fresh empowerment to serve God in our daily lives.

Monday 17 February: Pray for the staff, trustees and volunteers of KYTHE at a time of change and pray that the young people who engage with KYTHE may find life in all its fullness.

Tuesday 18 February: Uphold before God those who are struggling at this time because of ill-health, anxiety or bereavement and pray that they may find refreshment, comfort and healing.

Wednesday 19 February: Praise God for the many in our congregation who exercise their spiritual gifts in the life of the church and in the wider community and pray that their labours may bring blessing and new life.

Thursday 20 February: Pray for the congregations of Abernyte, Inchture & Kinnaird, Invergowrie and Longforgan as they celebrate their coming together to form the Carse of Gowrie Kirk at a service of union this evening.

Friday 21 February: Think of situations of conflict and strife locally and around the world and ask God to advance His Kingdom in each one by bringing peace and reconciliation.

Saturday 22 February: Remember the work of CrossReach demonstrating Christ's love in action across Scotland since 1869 and pray for all staff, volunteers and service users that they may know life in all its fullness.

Amen
