Prayer Points 19 December
We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?
Sunday 19th: Pray for an outpouring of God's Holy Spirit upon Kinross-shire and upon our nation and for a readiness amongst God's people to disciple those who come to faith in Christ.
Monday 20th: The Kinross-shire Parish Vision Group is meeting this evening to talk through practical matters in advance of the next meeting of the Kirk Session next week. Pray for God's blessing on all the discussions.
Tuesday 21st: Pray for the congregations of Camperdown, Lochee, Logie & St. John's Cross, Menzieshill and Dundee: West as they come together to form Westgait Parish with a ministry team, that they may advance God's Kingdom on the western side of the city.
Wednesday 22nd: Ask a blessing on all who work with the elderly and the vulnerable in our community, through the church, the Day Centre, Broke Not Broken and other local groups, that the older generation may live life to the full.
Thursday 23rd: Pray for the congregations of Balfron, Drymen and East Loch Lomond as they celebrate their linkage at a service this evening and begin the process of calling a minister.
Friday 24th: Ask a blessing on all who work with children and young people through the church and KYTHE, in uniformed organisations, in schools and in healthcare that a new generation may find fullness of life.
Saturday 25th: Kinross Church is open all today from 7am to 7pm to lift the establishment of Kinross-shire Parish Church before God in prayer. Please come for a time during the day and pray for different aspects of the work of the Church. Join others for a short act of worship on the hour.
Amen
