Prayer Points w/b 23 March
We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?
Sunday 23 March: Give than young people who are committed to worshipping at Sunday@7 every fortnight and pray for all involved with it.
Monday 24 March: Pray for lasting peace with justice in Israel, Palestine, Ukraine and Russia and all other conflict zones in the world at this time.
Tuesday 25 March: Seek God's protection for those of our fellow Christians who suffer persecution in many parts of the world and pray that their persecutors would come to know Christ for themselves.
Wednesday 26 March: Ask God to bless the work of organisations such as Mission Aviation Fellowship, Tearfund and Christian Aid as they seek to help the weakest and most vulnerable people in our world today.
Thursday 27 March: Pray for world leaders in the burdens they carry, asking God's guidance for them in the decisions they take and the lead they give and God's restraint whenever they are tempted to take the wrong path.
Friday 28 March: Let us ask God to widen our own vision of His Kingdom as individuals and as a congregation that we may be a part of the fulfilment of His purposes in the world.
Saturday 29 March: God of patient love, you await the return of the wayward and wandering and eagerly embrace them in pardon. Through baptism you have clothed us with the glory of Christ and restored our inheritance: give us generous hearts to welcome all who seek a place at the table of your unconditional love. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
