Meeting of The Presbytery of Perth in KINROSS
The next meeting of the Presbytery of Perth for 'ordinary business' will be in our own church on Saturday, 2nd November. Our Session Clerk, Jaffrey Weir, says: "To have Presbytery meet at Kinross Parish Church, especially as Alan Reid is Moderator, will be a special event." Presbytery meetings are open to all* to observe and members of the congregation are encouraged to take the chance to see the Presbytery in operation.
They might particularly like to attend at least the short, inspiring, opening worship, at 10.30am. Fit it in with a visit to our Craft Group's Coffee & Crafts at the Church Centre on the same day, 10am 12 noon!
* In theory, the Presbytery can rule that certain items of business need to be taken in private, but this is unusual.
