Prayer Points w/b 30 March

27 Mar 2025

We believe in a God that hears and answers prayer. Why not print this page and use it this week?

Sunday 30 March: As well as giving thanks this Mothering Sunday for those who have nurtured us, remember those who are mourning the loss of their mother and those who have not had the opportunity to experience motherhood.

Monday 31 March : Continue to ask the Prince of Peace, our Lord Jesus, to be at work in the hearts of all who have a role in the many situations of conflict in our world at this time.

Tuesday 1 April: Pray for Alan Reid as he leads Time for Reflection at High School assemblies each morning this week and at the Primary School on Wednesday afternoon as the schools prepare to break up for the Easter holidays.

Wednesday 2 April: Give thanks for the staff and volunteers who play their part in the work of Kinross Centre and for all the service users as they gather for lunch and activities each day.

Thursday 3 April: Pray for the Kirk Session as they negotiate the process towards filling the vacancy for a second full-time minister in the United Parish and particularly as they debate the question of whether to uphold or to depart from the Church's position on questions of human sexuality in relation to the call of a minister.

Friday 4 April: Pray for Tina Aze and Graeme McMorran as they are married tomorrow at Culross Abbey Church.

Saturday 5 April: Creator God, you prepare a new way in the wilderness and your grace waters the desert. Help us to recognise your hand working miracles beyond our imagining. Open our hearts to be transformed by the new thing you are doing so that our lives may proclaim the extravagance of your love for all and its presence in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Amen
