Prayer Points for week commencing Sunday 11 August
Sunday, 11th August: Pray for the youngest children in our community that they may be surrounded from their earliest days by a knowledge of the love of God and be
protected as they grow.
Monday, 12th: Remember the elderly and the vulnerable in our parish and give thanks for all carers, family members and neighbours who look after their well-being.
Tuesday, 13th: As the school term starts tomorrow, pray for all pupils, staff and parents of Kinross Primary School and Kinross High School at a time of new beginnings.
Wednesday, 14th: Pray for those involved in shaping the union of the churches of Kinross-shire into a single parish with multiple worship centres and a team ministry as they meet tonight.
Thursday, 15th: Pray for the service of union of the churches of Buchlyvie and Gartmore tonight.
Friday, 16th: Ask God to protect Christians who are in danger today because of persecution and pray that they may know the peace of God amid their trials.
Saturday, 17th: Pray for Irene McFarlane as she leads the whole service at church tomorrow as part of her training as a Presbytery-accredited local worship leader.
