Prayer Points 15 December

Sunday 15 December: “Rejoice! Rejoice! Immanuel shall come to thee, O Israel.” Give thanks for the reality of Immanuel – God with us – in the world, the heart of the Christmas message.
Monday 16 December: Pray today for all who have been bereaved recently and pray for all who will attend the Service of Quiet Remembering and Thanksgiving tonight. Pray for Patricia Archibald (née Bain) who will be ordained to the holy ministry at a service at Stirling: North Church this evening.
Tuesday 17 December: Pray for Alan Reid and Alex Johnson as they speak at assemblies at Kinross High School and Kinross Primary School this week and pray that every child and young person in our community may grasp the good news of Christ's coming for them that is at the heart of Christmas.
Wednesday 18 December: Pray for the Rosemount Nativity Service being held in the church this morning and pray for all parents and grandparents attending, as well as for the children themselves.
Thursday 19 December: Ask God's blessing on the family of Jenny Nelson whose funeral is being held today and remember all those for whom grief is particularly raw at this season.
Friday 20 December: Give thanks for the united Community Carols event in the church this evening and pray that all those attending may encounter the living Lord Jesus.
Saturday 21 December: Pray for peace in the world at this season and for all those who have no peace, whether through domestic violence, bullying, inter-personal or international conflict, to experience the peace of Christ in their hearts and minds.
