Prayer Points 26 January

Sunday 26th: Ask God to help all those involved in leading worship this morning at Fossoway, Kinross and Orwell this morning, at Portmoak this afternoon and at Sunday@7 this evening, that Christ may be exalted and all those attending may find blessing.
Monday 27th: Uplift the peoples of Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine as they navigate these days and continue to pray for lasting peace.
Tuesday 28th: Remember the ongoing situation in Ukraine and pray for peace with justice for all people. Pray for those who have been bereaved and those who have power to change things for the better.
Wednesday 29th: Ask God's protection today for those who face persecution today because of their faith in Christ and pray that they may be able to pray for and witness to their persecutors with grace and courage.
Thursday 30th: Pray for the united Kirk Session as it meets this evening, that further steps forward may be taken in the inauguration of new parish structures.
Friday 31st: Remember the work of those who labour for a fairer world through fair trade, community development and international aid.
Saturday 1st February: Please pray for the Presbytery of Perth as it meets for ordinary business today, including reports on Local Church Reviews of the life and work of eight congregations across the Presbytery, and a presentation on the Growing Young initiative.
