Prayer Points for week beginning 3 November

Sunday, 3rd November: Pray for Andrea Fraser as she preaches this morning as sole nominee at Aberdour and Dalgety Bay. Pray also for this afternoon's meetings of the Kirk Sessions of Cleish, Fossoway, Orwell & Portmoak and Kinross with representatives of the Presbytery of Perth to vote on proposals for the reorganisation of the Kinross-shire parishes.

Monday, 4th: Remember the elders as they meet for the regular quarterly meeting with a number of important matters on the agenda at a time of significant change.

Tuesday, 5th: Uphold the work of Stepping Stones on Tuesday mornings and pray for strong relationships to be built that will bear fruit in God's time.

Wednesday, 6th: Keep the work of community organisations like Kinross Centre, KYTHE and Broke Not Broken in your prayers regularly.

Thursday, 7th: Lift before God the needs of nations facing conflict, natural disaster and the effects of poverty and pray that God's Kingdom will be extended through the work of Christian mission and development agencies like MAF, Christian Aid, Tearfund, the Bible Societies.

Friday, 8th: Pray for those who are living through a time of ill-health, anxiety or bereavement and ask God to lead them into fulness of life in Jesus Christ.

Saturday, 9th: In recognition that large numbers of people will be in church for Remembrance Sunday tomorrow, pray that the welcome that is given and the experience of worship will be a positive one and that the Gospel message may be shared appropriately in the context of what is a difficult day for many.
